Passenger Vehicles (up to 3.5t)

Heavy Vehicles (over 3.5t)
For vehicles over 3.5 tons, a different toll system applies. These vehicles are required to use the automatic toll collection system, which calculates fees based on:
- Distance traveled
- Number of axles
- Emission class
Prices range from €0.09 to €0.26 per kilometer.
Special Categories
- Electric Vehicles: Currently exempt from tolls until 2025
- Buses and Coaches: Subject to specific rates, please inquire for details
- Emergency Vehicles: Exempt from toll charges
Important Information
- Vignettes are mandatory for all vehicles using German autobahns and federal highways.
- Fines for driving without a valid vignette can be substantial, starting from €120.

- The vignette must be properly displayed on the windshield to be valid.
- Annual vignettes are valid from December 1st of the previous year to January 31st of the following year.
